This 5.6 Mile Circular Walk starting at the Abergavenny Arms in Rodmell is perfect for both fitness enthusiasts and nature lovers alike as we embark on a scenic walk exploring the beauty of the great outdoors and South Downs National Park.
During the walk we shall pass through the hemispheres through the Greenwich meridian line, and take in far reaching views of Brighton through to Newhaven. The walk does encompass a couple of steep hills, one at the end so please factor these in.
After our invigorating hike, we will gather for a thirst quenching beverage in the Abergavenny Arms where you can socialise with other members of the group and share stories of your outdoor escapades. So grab your walking shoes, pack your favorite snacks, and come join us for a fun-filled evening of adventure and exploration with the BAHR Sunday Walking Group.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. Click here (https://www.ramblers.org.uk/membership) to apply. The cost is very reasonable and there are also other benefits. Please then bring your membership card with you.
