We are the One Step Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our journey commences outside the Upper Derwent Visitor Centre, conveniently situated near the Fairholmes Car Park, which offers restroom facilities both at the beginning and end of our walk. Brace yourself for an exhilarating adventure as we tackle two steep ascents during our route.
Our path will lead us to cross the Haggwater Bridge and Alport Bridge, revealing breathtaking vistas along the way. The breathtaking Alport Castles will enchant us as we immerse ourselves in the splendour of nature's wonders. Continuing our trek, we'll pass through Hagg Side and Crookhill, exploring the hidden gems of the region.
Finally, we'll make our way back, tracing the scenic route alongside the enchanting Ladybower Reservoir. We'll be in the midst of nature's beauty the entire way, making this a memorable and satisfying experience.
