Overview

A moderate-grade 9.5 mile walk centred on the former mining village of Ffynnongroyw in Flintshire.
Important Traffic Note: Vehicle access to the parking area adjacent to the Mining Memorial is restricted due to ongoing road works. You can only approach the location from the south east, via Main Road. The nearby A548 junction is closed both eastbound and westbound, meaning that traffic from the Prestatyn direction must continue on the A548 to the next exit at Llinegar Hill then turn right along Main Road. If you're appraoching via the A548 from the Flint direction take the first exit signposted Ffynnongroyw at Llinegar Hill and turn right onto Main Road.
