Overview

A circular walk from Newburgh to Glenduckie Hill taking in the remains of Lindores Abbey and part of the Fife Coastal Path.  The walk climbs up the hillside from Newburgh overlooking the Tay Estuary giving great views and continues around Glenduckie Hill before descending to the village.  The walk returns following an ascending track to Old Higham to rejoin the Fife Coastal path before returning to Newburgh.  This is a moderate route which follows generally good tracks and paths, although some sections of farmland can be muddy. Some prolonged ascent and possibility of livestock near paths.  Please bring a packed lunch.

If you would like to join this walk, you are required to book a place from SUNDAY 12TH JANUARY  between the hours of 8.00 am to 8.00 pm up to 24 HOURS BEFORE THE WALK STARTS by contacting Hilary Miller on 07905 650 943 (ideally by text but if not by phone).
