Overview

To celebrate the end of our walking year 2024, Diane will lead a walk from a special location: The very pretty village of Dedham in Constable Country.

The morning walk takes us from Dedham along gentle paths with outstanding views over the Stour Valley. It is about 5 miles. We will stop for an hour at lunchtime in Dedham where there are plenty of cafes and pubs offering food, as well as lovely shops!  Alternatively you can picnic on the cricket field. We will meet again at the War Memorial after lunch for another short walk towards Flatford Mill in the afternoon. I'm sure you will all recognise many of the sights!!
