Moderately-paced walk from Flamstead via Jockey End and Great Gaddesden to Bridens Camp for a lunch stop. Due to heavy rain over the past couple of months the paths are wet, muddy and slippery, making this walk quite strenuous. Consider bringing a walking pole.
Bring a picnic. Brief pub stop. Optional car share from Barnet: Victor's Way Car Park, EN5 5TR, leaving 09.10 (20 miles).
Flamstead. From A1(M) J9 (signed to Redbourn) take A5183 west. Meet in the Car Park in Friendless Lane at west edge of village on junction with Mill Lane. Do not use the sports ground car park at the east end of Friendless Lane.
