A Sandringham Estate permissive walk starting from the old apple store ( a barn ) on Common Drove, Appleton.
The route passes through some pretty, undulating countryside not normally available to walkers, and goes through the ancient village of Flitcham.
Sandringham stipulations :- No photography on Estate land
- Dogs on 2m leash
- no dog fouling
Parking behind and beside the old apple store on Common Drove. From Kings Lynn on the A148, turn L just before Hillington on to the B1440 signposted to Sandringham. The first turning on the R is Common Drove, an unsigned country lane. The apple store barn is on the L after 100yds or so. If you are approaching on the B1440 from Sandringham DO NOT TURN LEFT AT THE SIGN FOR APPLETON FARM - It's the NEXT turning on the left.
