A linear walk from Yeovil Pen Mill to Yetminster, through Yeovil Country Park, meeting local celebrity 'Jack', then down to Stoford for a short break in Court House gardens. Continue on field paths and tracks to Ryme Intriseca, featured in Betjeman's poem 'Dorset', and where we stop for lunch. Continue on field paths to pretty Yetminster with its wealth of thatched buildings including the White Hart pub and the Old School Gallery and cafe where there should be time to indulge in tea and cake, or indeed a pint in the pub.
Only one hill shortly after the start of the walk, otherwise it is fairly flat. Field paths and tracks may be muddy in places.
