Following the riverside past Higgons Well walking in the direction of Uzmaston, a few road sections on route and lots of clear tracks and not to muddy, a few climbs and but no steep ones, to Boulston area great country side views (if weather same as on the recce.)
At the coffee stop a choice to not do a loop of about 1 mile for those who do not wish to just stay and take a longer break and we the ( 8 milers) will rejoin you then heading up to Norchard, Shady Grove, Hanton Bridge and back to the cars.
Free parking at Frolic car park .
