Storm Darragh is forecast to have gusts over 40 mph even in our area. A walk in woodland would be dangerous- flying branches etc. The Christmas meal will go ahead as planned.

Overview

From Inverarity Church car park, mainly on good tracks, to the top of Fothringham Hill.  Continuous but gentle ascent, taken at a slow pace to suit all members.  Coffee stop at the Folly, with excellent views over the countryside.  Return by same route.  Back to cars by 12:00 to travel to lunch venue at The Mill, Lochlands, Forfar for 12:30.
