The walk starts from the car park at Foulridge, following the Leeds and Liverpool canal. A steep climb to White Moor is rewarded with panoramic views over Lancashire. The walk continues to Duck Pond farm, renowned for a Head Sculpture mounted on the farm wall, then along The Pendle Way, descending to Admergill Water and Blacko Foot farm, followed by a pleasant stroll along Pendle Water to Higherfold. The return leg passes along Slipper Hill Reservoir and Lake Burwain (Lower Foulridge Reservoir) back to the start.
