We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The Jubilee Walk is divided into 4 parts:
1. Leicester Square to Jubilee Gardens (including Trafalgar Square, The Mall, St James' Park and The Houses of Parliament).
2. Jubilee Gardens to Tower Bridge (including the South Bank)
3. Tower Bridge to St Paul's Cathedral (including the Tower of London)
4. St Paul's Cathedral to Leicester Square (including Fleet Street, Covent Garden and The West End).
Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day. Lunch will be at Tower Bridge and there are a number of local places for a quick drink.
Meet outside Exit 2 of Leicester Square Tube Station.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers. To book a place on the walk please text Shirley on 07999 596717 giving your name and mobile phone number. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
