Gilwern and Clydach Gorge

The walk crosses the Heads of the Valleys Road on the impressive new footbridges. We will see waterfalls and rapids on the Clydach Gorge and walk through some lovely woods.

We'll also see the remains of old railways, limestone kilns, ironworks and a canal.

If the weather is clear we will have good views. There are some some steep ups and downs, and I recommend walking poles and walking boots.

There are public toilets on the main road by the Londis shop.
