We start at 10.00 am from Traquair Kirk car park at Kirkhouse, just over a mile south of Traquair on the B709. We walk along a quiet minor road to reach the estate tracks in the Glen. We take the upper track to "The Far Cottage" at Glenshiel Banks, and follow footpaths to Loch Eddy, returning along estate tracks to the minor road.
The Glen is a picturesque sheltered valley, surrounded by rugged hills and forestry, and has many points of interest, including The Glen House.
