Overview

Time to avoid the mud and take to the hills.  Some classic Sussex Downland walking near Mount Caburn, and weather permitting with glorious views in every compass direction.

An anti-clockwise loop from Glynde ascending to Saxon Down (stiff climb), Cliffe and Malling Hills, down to the River Ouse for a pub lunch at the John Harvey Tavern (GBG).  Suitably refreshed for another steep ascent up Chapel Hill, and across to Oxteddle Bottom to climb up again to the Mount Caburn Iron age fort before dropping back to the start.

Please text the leader to book onto this walk.
