We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Moderate to brisk paced 11 mile walk - about 4.5 hours walking.
Mainly easy walking. One short climb; some road walking.
Route: Ridgeway, Aldworth, Moulsford Down, Moulsford, Thames Path.
Lunch: Picnic lunch - or pub with rolls.
Meet at Goring & Streatley Station at 10.40.
Travel: Paddington 09.52 (Hereford train), changing at Reading (arr 10.16) to 10.23 (Didcot Parkway train) arr Goring 10.36.
Ticket/Fare: Off-Peak Return to Goring & Streatley £25.50/£16.80 SRC/SRC+FP £10.60.
Finish: Goring & Streatley Station. Note: the estimated finishing time given is a guesstimate only and actual finish time will depend on numbers, speed at which the group walks - and the weather!
