Meet at Beckenham Hill station SE6 3RD.
Trains from Farringdon are more direct than from Victoria. Take the 9.42 from Farringdon to Beckenham Hill. It will arrive at 10.15. It is a Sevenoaks train and leaves from platform 3. It also calls at City Thameslink and Blackfriars.
The walk will begin at 10.15 not 10.30. The reason being that at the end of the walk we go through Nunhead Cemetry and it closes at 4pm from 1st November.
Walk through green spaces of south east London including Crystal Palace to Nunhead Cemetery. Pub stop. Return from Nunhead station SE15 3XE.
Also be aware that there could be disruption from strikes on the underground in November. It shouldn't affect the Elizabeth Line or the overground.
Finally, there is a shortage of toilets in the first 2 miles or so of the walk. There are toilets on the Thameslink trains and when we reach Penge East station.
