This is the ninth in a series of ten summer Thursday walks. This walk is from the top car park of Greenway Bank.
Traditionally, our Thursday Evening Summer walks have been open to non-members, family and friends as well as well-behaved dogs (short lead at all times and at the back of the group please.
Note that a major project has got underway at Knypersley Reservoir to improve its 'resilience for the future'. The scheme on Greenway Bank will see a section of road - between two entrances to the two car parks- shut until November. It means that motorists heading from Brown Edge and Endon, wanting to use either of the main car parks, have to attempt the narrow Tongue Lane or follow the 'official' diversion through Ball Green.
