Overview

From Grimwith Res. CP we head over the Moors towards Stump Cross Caverns to meet the B6265. We then follow Black Hill Road (Track) over to Skyreholme After passing Parcevall Hall Gardens entrance, we head towards Trollers Gill, and then on to pass the old mine workings before returning to Grimwith Res.

Note: We use a booking system in case of last-minute changes to the walk details or for Covid, weather or car parking etc. Please book a place by contacting Allan Matthews on 07929983493, or via email (allldm14@gmail.com). Although we do accept walkers on the day.

Use the Yorkshire Water CP at Grimwith Reservoir by the Toilet block above the sailing club entrance. The entrance to the Res. CP is on the RHS past Stump cross caverns just before you reach Dibbles Bridge at the bottom of the steep Hill.
