We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk starts on the village green at Croxley and heads towards Whippendell Woods. The trail then passes Dell Wood before turning south east to follow a country lane down to the canal to Long Valley Wood where we cross the River Gade and enter Common Wood. We then pick up part of the Ebury Way and along a part of the River Chess before returning to Croxley Green. We will be having a short break along the way, so please bring along a drink and snack if you wish and there is the option for refreshments at one of the pubs at the end of the walk
Meet outside the Coach and Horses, Croxley Green WD3 3HX and please park discretely around the green.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
