Half Day Walk - Sarratt and The River Chess

This is a circular walk from Sarratt and along the River Chess.  The walk is mainly on grassy paths but may be muddy if wet.  There are a few stiles and gates to negotiate and we will be walking down to the river and then back up again.  Please bring along a drink and snack for a quick morning break and there is also the opportunity for refreshment after the walk in Sarratt.

Meet at the wooden shelter, opposite The Boot Public House on The Green, Sarratt, Herts, WD3 6BL.  Please park considerately around the village.

Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.  Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.

The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book.  If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
