C WALK DESCRIPTION: 8.25 miles, 230 ft ascent. Leader: Eva Hyde. Starting at a layby on the B4090 near Hanbury Hall, we will walk southwards across fields and then around the southern side of Goosehill Wood, where there should be some fine views. From here, we follow the Wychavon Way along Dean Brook and the Worcester and Birmingham Canal (4 miles) to Shernal Green Bridge. Continuing along the canal we pass Hanbury Wharf to the Eagle and Sun pub (5.5 miles). We continue along the canal towpath, leaving (at 5.9 miles) to cross over a railway bridge, past Summerhill Farm and the edge of Summerhill Wood to Hanbury Park.
