Ring in the New Year with a delightful leisurely stroll through the heavily scented pines of Hanchurch Woods to help work off the excesses of the season. Give your spirits that uplifting feeling as you meander by the edges of the forest estate on clear paths though some might be a little boggy in places. Other paths away and out of the woods are firm and wide.
Approach the car park at the water tower off the A519 by turning left, if travelling from Swynnerton,onto Drayton Road until you reach a farm building at the top of the hill on the right. Turn left opposite the farm building and drive up to the Water Tower.
