A pleasant ramble, largely along a canal towpath and trackbed of a disused railway, so fairly level walking, plus some fields. We will walk through the village of Denton with a good view of Belvoir Castle along the way.
Please meet at the junction of High Street and Church Street in Harlaxton, Lincolnshire.
Parking: Please park considerately along the High Street or Church Street as you reasonably can. If you can car share, please do so.
There are no public toilets along the route.
The Ramblers website describes this walk as easy.
Walk leaders will take a register at the start of the walk and ask for a contact email address if you are not yet a Ramblers member. Please make us aware if you do not wish to receive follow-up and marketing emails from the Ramblers.
Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
Please bring a packed lunch and water. Bringing too much water is better than too little if it is a hot day.
Please RSVP on meetup if you wish to attend. Please update your status if your plans change.
