Overview

This walk takes us along woodland paths, across heathland and beside horse fields. We should have good views overlooking the Weald and visit Walton on the Hill for a picnic lunch break.

The pace is moderate, with no steep hills, but may be muddy underfoot if the weather has been wet.

Please bring a picnic lunch and drinks.

There may be a food truck at Headley Heath car park for refreshment top up at the start or end of the walk.

Parking is at the National Trust car park on Headley Heath. So, it is free for NT members.

Pay for all day if not a member.

I suggest GR members coming along the A246 might share cars.

Ramblers members who do not know me personally, please bring your membership card.
