This lovely walk is across quiet Warwickshire countryside, fields and lanes. From Henley in Arden we head to Bannams Wood, which is a small remnant of the ancient woodland that was once widespread across the Midlands, but which is now very rare in Warwickshire. The woodland is a site of Special Scientific Interest. There is a short uphill ascent to the woodland but the remainder of the walk is across rolling fields and lanes. From the woods we will head to the tiny hamlet of Morton Bagot and have a sandwich stop at Holy Trinity church. This is a simple 13th century small village church with a timbered bell tower and lych gate. There will be an opportunity for refreshments at the Community bar at Henley in Arden station at the end of the walk. Welcome to The Station Henley in Arden | Bar, Drinks & Snacks
