We are Coalville Ramblers - a friendly group based in the heart of the National Forest. We offer a programme of 3 walks each week, from 5 miles to 10 plus.

Anyone can join us on this walk around historical sites in and around Coalville? It may include the Swannington incline, locations of Snibston one and Snibston two Collieries, location of various factories and social facilities in years gone by. The length of the walk and the content depends on the people present, but it’s always 3 miles or so. We sometimes find that the participants know more about the heritage of Coalville than the leader. So If you’re an old-time Coalville resident, please come and join us and share your memories.
