Overview

From the ruins of the 19th century hunting lodge The Hermitage, which was later used to house German prisoners in WW1, we make a steady climb through the valley in the Black Mountains towards our highest point at Mynydd Llysiau.  We then follow the ridge line back where we will have panoramic views (weather permitting!), before descending and returning to our start point.
