Overview

A Linear walk to Greenwich Station led by Pauline L (Mobile No: 07976 953555). The walk goes past several docks to Mudchute Farm where there are pigs, sheep, goats etc. We then walk along the Thames to Island Gardens and go through the foot tunnel under the river coming out by the historic sailing ship, the ‘Cutty Sark’, in Greenwich. The lunch stop is near the Visitor Centre. There are plenty of eating places and picnic spots to choose from. After lunch we continue past the Royal Navel College, visit the Chapel and the Queen’s House in Greenwich Park and climb up to the Observatory. After exploring the sites of interest around the park we will make our way down to the station where there are trains to London Bridge and DLR trains. Map: E162, London A-Z.
