Finchley & Hornsey is a friendly group, open to everyone. We walk mainly in Herts and surrounding counties.
Pleasant, varied circular walk, approx 9 miles, from Hertford North Station, up the river Beane past Stapleford and returning through the old quarry and nature reserve. No very steep hills. please bring a packed lunch.
Toilets at Hertford North Station but no toilets en route -plenty of trees and bushes.
Station car park about £5 - some free parking in nearby streets. Stevenage or Hertford North Train from Finsbury Park.
Stevenage/Hertford North train from Moorgate via Finsbury Park. If not coming by train please be there by 10.15 ready for a 10.20 start. ( If the train is delayed the walk will start when the train arrives.)
