A dog-friendly walk of just under 5 miles, through beautiful open countryside between Watton-at-Stone and Stapleford, with plenty of off-lead roaming for the dogs.
The walk passes through the Woodhall Estate and along the River Beane, where there will be an opportunity for the dogs to cool off in the river.
We will have a short break half way round.
The route is generally pretty flat with a couple of gentle slopes.
You do not have to have a dog to join this walk, but please be aware that apart from the few places where dogs are required to be on leads for safety reasons, dogs are encouraged to be off-lead so they can have a good run around. The walk crosses the A119 twice and there is a short distance walked on the pavement beside the A119.
