We are the West Herts Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
PLACES ON OUR WALKS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.
Highfield Park, located to the south east of St Albans, was created from 60 acres of the grounds of former mental hospitals, which closed in the 1990s. This amble will be a gentle stroll around the park mainly on dry paths through open spaces and wooded areas. Coffee is available at the Trestle Arts Base on our way back to the car park.

BOOKING A PLACE
Numbers on our walks are limited and you must book a place in advance. There is no need to message us. Just go to our web site, scroll down the Home page to the Quick Menu and click on Book a Walk Place. Places can be booked from 8am on the Wednesday of the week before the walk.
