A leisurely to moderate circular walk. Mostly quiet lanes, fields and towpath.
Park at Hockley Heath Recreation Ground Car Park - on the B4439, B94 6HH
We loop through Lapworth, (twice actually!) and then visit the Obelisk before returning to Hockley Heath.
If we fancy coffee / snacks afterwards we are parked close to the Wharf Inn, Hockley Heath
Around 4 stiles - none difficult.
Some farm gateways are very muddy... wellies and gaiters welcome.
A fair amount of lane walking - we cross the busy A3400 twice
We pass through two working farmyards - but the livestock are in their sheds and only mildly interested in walkers.
