Overview

Starting from Farningham Road Station the walk continues through the countryside of Horton Kirby,  South Darenth and Sutton at Hone.  There will be a short lunch stop in the Churchyard of the Church of St Margaret of Antioch, Darenth. Plenty of benches available, weather permitting.  After lunch there is a short stretch along the River Darent and then we proceed to Sutton at Hone where we reach a large fruit farm owned by WB Chambers that produces 72 varieties of raspberries along with many other berries throughout the year.  (Approx. finish time 2.30pm).
