We are the Hillingdon Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A linear walk starting at Hounslow West and ending at Hayes. This is a green chain walk, linking many open spaces including Hounslow Heath, woodlands, Cranford Park, rivers and the Grand Union Canal which run through West Londons urban and sometimes industrial landscape.
We mostly use good flat paths and boardwalks to avoid the worst the winter weather may cause.
Please wear walking shoes or boots as there may be some muddy patches, particularly if the weather has been wet.
Our lunch stop does not have a cafe so please bring food or snacks and a drink
Although there are alfresco opportunites along the way, public toilet facilites on this walk are limited, and after the lunch stop. If you are travelling via Heathrow, you may wish to build in extra time to break your journey and use facilities there.

Please time your arrival at Houslow West so that we can start at 10.30 am.
We will meet outside of the entrance to Hounslow West Underground Station. There are no public toilets at Hounslow West
We finish at Hayes and Harlington Railway Station, which is on the Elizabeth Line. There are also good bus connections There are public toilets at the station
