Overview

A winter walk at the end of the year

From Old Market Square the 09.59 am tram takes us to the former mining town of Hucknall where we begin our walk that follows the River Leen. We cut through Titchfield Park and Butlers Hill to Bestwood Country park, Mill Lakes, where we pick up the River Leen and follow it to Bulwell. After a lunch stop on Bulwell Bogs we continue along the River Leen through Basford to Wilkinson Street Tram Stop to hop on the next tram back to Nottingham Old Market Square.
