Wednesday 2nd October 10.30 start. Please try to meet at 10.20
Starting from Darwen Gardens car park we climb to White Wells, an interesting cottage on the Moor where you can take a dip in the spa. The climb involves well over a hundred steps and we gain hight in a short time. From White Wells we make our way to Ilkley Crag before picking up the Dales Way as we continue to climb. We then head south to White Crag before we head to the 12 apostles stone circle. From here we head due west to High Lane Shaw dam, down to Green Crag Slack again on the Dales way to the quarry behind the cow and calf rock formation before we drop back down to the start.
Please bring a warm drink and some food for the lunch stop.
