Overview

Meet at Peebles Post Office to catch the X62 9.15am Bus to Galashiels arriving at the Innerleithen Unionist Club at 9.30am (meeting place for those not coming by Bus), We walk toward the Mast and take the path to Glenormiston and up to High Wood for a coffee stop. We access Nether Horsburgh by a rough track through a new plantation and forestry track. We cross the A72 and take the River path to Cardrona . Here we join the multi-use path for a short period, stopping for lunch, before entering Eshiels Community Woodland. We re-join the path and return to Peebles via Janet's Brae and Peebles Hydro.
