Overview

Arriving at Yarmouth we head West on the coastal path via Fort Victoria to Monks Lane where we ascend to Golden Hill Country Park and walk around the walls of Palmerston's folly. There are magnificent views and an interesting installation. We then descend to Freshwater and join the Freshwater Way to Freshwater Bay for a  picnic lunch. After, we pass the golf clubhouse to join another part of the Freshwater Way and the Causeway heading North to walk the route of the dismantled railway back to Yarmouth.
