Ivinghoe Beacon, Ashridge and Aldbury

Starting off with a climb up Steps Hill we continue upwards to Ivinghoe Beacon. After descending, it is up again onto the ridge to walk along to Ashridge for lunch.  We will then descend to Aldbury then our final ascent along The Ridgeway and back to our starting point.  This walk will be muddy in places and slippery on the chalk of the Beacon, so poles could  be a good idea.  Please bring along a packed lunch and drinks for the day but there will be the opportunity to get a drink near the Bridgewater Monument.

Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.  Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.

The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book.  If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
