Overview

A scenic walk up to Ivinghoe Beacon and then along the chalk grasslands of the Ridgeway to Pitstone Hill and Aldbury Nowers.   Fantastic views from the Chilterns escarpment over the Vale of Aylesbury and beyond.   We return via wildflower rich  Clipper Down and ancient Crawley Wood.

NT car park (free) off Beacon Road, just south of Ivinghoe Beacon. (There are a number of rough off road parking areas on Beacon Road if coming from the Ringshall direction, we are meeting in the surfaced & signed NT car park just before the road descends the escarpment)
