Overview

Along the Grand Union Canal to Perivale Wood nature reserve for lunch - bring a picnic, hot drinks and toilets available. After exploring the wood and learning a bit about the Selborne Society's important conservation work we will walk further along the canal to Paradise Fields in Greenford where 5 beavers were released last autumn as part of an urban rewilding project. The walk continues over Horsenden Hill, at 276 feet the highest point in Ealing. From there it is an easy walk back to Alperton.

If you are able to offer help in guiding those visually impaired walkers who need assistance, please email jackie.gower3@gmail.com or text 07796 264917.
