We are the Forth Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at the Helix Car Park we walk along the Queen Elizabeth II canal to the Kelpies, and follow the Helix paths to the Sunclock and Love and Kisses sculptures. After crossing the Abbotshaugh Bridge we take the towpath along the River Carron. This brings us to woodland and the path to Bothkennar Pools. After this we make our way via farm tracks, field edge and minor road back to the Kelpies.
The Helix Car Park is the first one as you enter and is free. The next one, the Kelpies Car Park is not. There is a charge.
Local grade C.
Easy walking on Helix paths and towpath but field edges and woodland paths uneven.
Some sections in fields may be muddy.
Possibly cattle in field.

There is a cafe, shop and information centre as well as outdoor seating at the Kelpies.
