Overview

Circular walk approx 6.5 miles.

We start by following the Cleveland Way on the minor road northwards uphill passing Bankside Farm and then west to Captain Cook's monument.  Staying on the CW we descend to Gribdale Gate and then leave the CW to climb onto Ayton Moor and cross it to meet the road end at Percy Cross Rigg. Walking southeast on Percy Cross Rigg we pass the iron age hut circles and then descend via New Row to the road, which we follow west back to Kildale.
