Getting a bit fed up of muddy boots? This walk is mostly clean and easy. Come along and enjoy this early Spring walk through some fascinating and historic locations in North and Central London. A chance to be pictured crossing Beatles style the world famous Abbey Road zebra crossing. We explore the Regents Canal, Primrose Hill (our only significant hill), Lords Cricket ground, Paddington Basin then follow on through world famous places and briefly be on the tourist trail through to Waterloo Station, where the walk ends.
There are many toilet and cafe opportunities along the route. As with most London walks, there are also points through the walk where you could drop out but I don’t think that you would want to miss the many great sights along the way! Dogs are welcome but must be on leads for most of the time.
If you are not a regular walker with Hillingdon Ramblers, please contact the walk leader before coming along and provide your number and an emergency contact number.
We will stop for a picnic lunch on a floating garden in Paddington Basin.
