Overview

From Kings Langley we follow the Hertfordshire Way to Chipperfield Common for a mid morning break, then southwards crossing woods and fields to join 'The Chiltern Way' to Church End Sarratt for our lunch stop in the churchyard. Bring picnic lunch, but there will be time for drinks and use of toilets at 'The Cock Inn' Pub. Then we descend to follow a short section of the Chess Valley walk, then ascend to Chorleywood Common and down to the station. Some ups and downs, but not too steep, but likely to be muddy after wet conditions. Good views across the Chess Valley.
