Kniveton is a village on the south-eastern edge of the Peak District. This moderately strenuous walk sets out south west of Kniveton to Rowfields Farm, then turns south east to Agnesmeadow Bridge and follows Henmore Brook for about a mile and a half until we begin a climb of around 480 ft over the next mile to reach the summit of Madge Hill at 978 ft. From there we make a short descent into Kniveton.
Meet at the Lichfield College car park, off the Friary, at 9 am for car sharing.
