Overview

Given the lack of day light hours, this is fast paced 17 mile, hilly walk from Leatherhead via a National Trust property called Polesden Lacy to Box Hill and West Humble station. We'll ascend a lesser know route up to Box Hill before descending and then ascending again towards Polesden Lacy before making our return to Box Hill. Total ascent of 700m.

Please bring packed lunch.  Pub stop at the end.

Please bring head torch as we might finish the walk as it starts to get dark.

Travel:

Please take the 8:54 from London Waterloo (Clapham Junction 9:03), arrive at Leatherhead at 9:36.

Buy return to Box Hill and Westhumble.

Please take the exit from the platform on which we arrive and meet outside the station. Please stand away from the barriers to let other passengers leave the station.
