We walk from the pretty village green of Leigh via the Eden Valley Walk to historic Penshurst Place for our mid morning break. We then head north through Penshurst Park to Cinder Hill Farm,Little Moorden and cross the railway line to the east of Penshurst Station where we will have our picnic lunch at the local rugby club ground where seats are usually available if it's not a match day.We resume our walk northwards through the village of Charcott and then turn south east throughWickhurst Farm,Leigh Park Farm and return to Leigh skirting the east side of Hall Place. The walk has only one moderate hill but is generally flat to rolling, beautiful Kent countryside. There is the possibility of some muddy areas depending on the weather leading up to the walk date and if you're a walking pole user it would be advisable to bring them.
