This is a linear walk and it starts later than normal at 11am (no 10am bus).
We will bus it from Groesfaen the 10 or so minutes to Radyr Golf Club to start the walk.
REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BUS PASSES.
The Stagecoach No.122 bus is scheduled to depart at 11.07 (experience has shown us it may be a couple of minutes late). Please arrive promptly as the bus waits for no one.
This pleasant and short linear walk is part of the Cardiff to Penrhys Pilgrimage route and as such is well sign posted.
We aim to disembark the bus on the western fringes of Radyr by 11.30am at latest. We cross the motorway before ascending through woodland and open fields the outskirts of Pentyrch. We continue west to Creigiau with its railway history. The last mile takes us back through woodland to Groesfaen.
Given the absence of rain recently I am hoping for a mud free walk. Nor are the stiles numerous. It is a country walk so boots.
